Art21 Educators solicits new applicants for each year of the program. New program information and application requirements are posted in January for the upcoming academic year.

2012–2013 Program Information

Summer Institute Dates:
Monday, July 2, 2012–Tuesday, July 10, 2012

Housing Information:
NYU housing is available at a subsidized rate this year of $51/night for a shared room and $77 for a single room. The total fee for 9 nights (Monday, July 2–Tuesday July 10) in a double-occupancy room is $459 per person. For a single occupancy room the total cost is: $693. Payment for housing will be collected in advance of the Institute. Applicants should indicate on their application whether they would like to stay in NYU Summer Housing and whether they prefer a single or double room.

We strongly encourage participants to stay in residential housing provided by NYU during the Summer Institute. Many of our sessions are held in or around the NYU Summer Housing dorms and participants often tell us that the informal conversations and gatherings that happen in the dorms are central to the sense of community that develops during this week.

NYU Summer Housing does not provide meals. Art21 estimates $40–65 per day for meals.
